Making friends with Geisha and Maiko in Gion!




Maki and I were in Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka for 9 days. We certainly did not waste any time sleeping! We had Maiko and Geisha to meet!!!

Teruyuki san is the shortest Maiko in Gion. She comes from Nagano Japan.

Maki asked her what her favorite classes are at the Gion Maiko School. She said, "I love all of my classes. I work hard but everything is so interesting to me."
