TAISHO ERA (1912- 1926) SHIBORI HAORI WITH OBOSHI AND SQUARE RING DOTS

By folding crumpling stitching plaiting or plucking and twisting the fabric amazing designs are created. The large circles or oboshi figures are colored green, gold, yellow and white. The square ring dots are white the entire composition is on a purple background. The haori is lined in a colorful sheer silk. It is in good condition.
