RINZU BLUE HAORI WITH WHITE CHUBOSHI SHIBORI The pale blue silk is woven in a floating wave pattern. The weaver used a technique that gives the silk dimension and texture. This influenced the irregular coloration of the silk. The haori is further decorated in a tie dye technique called shibori. The shibori stitch is called chuboshi or medium capped motif. the shibori is white on a pale blue field. The haori is lined in silk damask with a chrysanthemum pattern.
